With par2 you can later add even more additional backup redundancy data. For example, with PAR2, if you have a 5 DVD set, and one is missing or damaged, you can use the remaining 4 disks and the parity data created to recreate the missing disk. Using PAR2 it is also possible to create backup data on external media, as well as creating backup data for entire sets of disks, that reside on each disk set. PAR2 gives you the flexibility of either creating backup data for file sets, or of a track from a multi-session CD image, and how much data you wish to provide. With PAR2 you have the option of recovering an individual file without the need for time consuming process of recovering the entire disk image. No ability to optionally recover filesets vs an entire disk image. No indication of control over where the recovery data is placed on the disk, vs, being able to place PAR2 data in different locations on optical media through NERO by setting file priority. No flexibility of the amount of recovery data, or the recovery data block size. This software holds no advantage over simply including redundant PAR2 data to optical media for backups.

So I can do LUTS if I want, I learned what they were and how they worked, it was like $15 and I never use it (but I can if I want). One of them (they've change what is in what "addon") was also a LUTS pack. The spectrum analyser is the real deal for color correction, and the denoiser in the visual repair pack has saved my ass many times, also fixed rolling shutter issues, etc. I got must have stuff like Premium Formats so I could use a good cine35 camera and use AVCHD, color scopes, and gunfire (formerly destruction pack) since I was making a short about a hitman. I still use 2017 Express and when I started using it, and learning how to edit, I bought a bunch (they were called "packs" then). Have you ever paid for any of the "addons"? I just looked up the "differences page" and wow, you weren't kidding, it fucking sucks. The monitor works in both landscape and portrait orientation, which works well with the easy-adjust stand. You may also benefit from 10-bit if your monitor uses Adobe RGB because that offers a larger colour space than sRGB. When this is converted down on an 8-bit display, it can create biases which show up as banding. Why does 10-bit matter? Many cameras are able to record 10-bit or more. Since Apple launched Mac OS X El Capitan the Mac has been able to display 10-bit colour the only limitation has been the display. The monitor offers a P3 wide colour gamut and 10-bit colour depth – both excellent ratings.
